If there is an anime that surpasses FMA in all aspects, then, yes, but for me, FMA is still the best anime there is because of its plot, characters, music, art, moral values that can be learned and applied to real life, etc...and definitely worth watching and loving at the same time.

Maybe you should start with the basics of writing fiction: Characters, Setting, Plot, Theme, etc...
like making a list or so...or writing drafts...

they should watch the anime first before criticizing it, because if they criticize it at first then watch it, then they'll regret that they said something bad about it, but actually it's nice!
